Kate McKinnon Nails Laura Ingraham on SNL: Im Getting Pwned By Teenagers!
You can add Laura Ingraham to the seemingly endless list of expert and hilarious impressions from Saturday Night Lives Kate McKinnon.
This week, Ingraham returned to Fox News after taking an impromptu vacation amidst the uproar that followed her Twitter attack against Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg.
Its so good to be back after that planned vacation. It was so fun and so planned and so scheduled a long time ago, McKinnons Ingraham told Weekend Update anchor Colin Jost. And look, the important thing is, I am back. And Im not going to cave to bullying from the tolerant left. And I dont care if I lost a couple of sponsors.
When Jost reminded her that she has so far lost 27 advertisers, she added, And all because I trolled a traumatized teen. After spewing venom for decades, Twitter suddenly has made me accountable? Yeah, OK.
Over the course of the segment, Ingraham shared with Jost some of the new sponsors she has welcomed on board to replace those that have fled her show. They included Carls Sr.: Leftover Carls Jr. food ground to mush for old people and Malaysian Airlines: Caught in a scandal and need an escape? Malaysian Airlines.
You see, the totalitarian left can attack me all they want, she said. But I will continue to defend the First Amendment. Thats my right to bully people without being bullied in return, right, Colin?
But just look, dont boycott my show, Ingraham added. Our countrys so divided right now. And Im an important part of that. Lets move on. You know Im going to say something worse. Why dont you just watch the show and find out what thats going to be?
What do you want me to say? Im getting pwned by teenagers! Ingraham said. I dont understand anything anymore. Emma Gonzalez looks like some badass superhero trying to change the world. But when I was in high school it was bad to try. I said I wanted to try art and I got kicked in the face. But I didnt say I was getting bullied, I just grew up into this.
But you know whos not afraid to sponsor this? she asked. Cream soda: the soda for whites.
I always knew white people loved cream soda, Michael Che said after McKinnon left the set.
